Featured in the upcoming issue of Baby Couture Magazine, one of I Booker Media's Favorite Things...One Posh Kid! As soon as the issue is available I will post it on our blog.

What's up with One Posh Kid? A LOT! We have been super busy and I feel so blessed and fortunate to be so busy. We just had out first Market in LA and Dallas and Market was great. We introduced part of our Spring 2010 Line which was well received and getting a ton of great feedback and lot's of orders to go with!

Also, One Posh Kid clothing available at The Glitter Box. Visit their locations at San Tan Mall or in Old Town Historic Mesa on Main Street. They are getting all of their Fall clothing in and have clothing for Boys too.

My, oh, my! I love how this set turned out! We spiced up one of our signature styles with our new rosettes and whalaaaa, you have this Zebralicious Heart Set! This past weekend we were honored to part of The Childhelp http://www.childhelp.org/2009/home Fashion Show! It was so much fun!!! Sari from Raising Arizona Kids/co Chair for Childhelp asked One Posh Kid and Lucky Gabi to dress 14 of the 84 models and the models looked so cute and did a fabulous job!! Brooklynn came with Christina and I and she was thrilled to meet a real life Princess! Princess Catherine of Yugoslavia was there with her husband, Casper Van Deen and their beautiful girls. Their girlies went gaga over the Lucky Gabi pettis!! The day was full of fun....including meeting Miss Arizona & Miss World and a carriage ride fit for a princess! Here a few pix from the event, the lighting wasn't the greatest, but who needs good lighting when you are as cute as these girls!

As Brooklynn is already saying...OMG! Brooke has requested some new "tunes" on my blog, so as you can "hear" they are Miley and a little Taylor Swift....Brooke, Jake and I went to see the BIG OPENING MOVIE...HANNAH MONTANA this weekend and it was very cute and of course Brooklynn has talked about nothing since! She has decided to be Hannah Montana this halloween, (yes she has decided this already) We have been on YOU TUBE watching the HOEDOWN video and she has performed the dance...I mean Hoedown, Boom, Boom, Clap... numerous times for Jake and I. Sad....Jake now knows all of the words too this teeny bopper song, yes I said TEENY BOPPER! I am soooo showing my age now, whew! Tina witnessed a few of the background noise today of my daughters slight, sweet obsession with Hannah today, sorry about that Tina, lol, really! So we decided to add a few new songs to her iPOD and I never should have shown her that site, she was like...."Mom, I HAVE TO HAVE THAT ONE (on about 20 songs)!!!" MMM, hmmmm! So I comprimised and told her she could pick 3 and listen to a few on my blog...I will be sure to take a pix of her doing her HOEDOWN soon, she definatly has my moves, but she gets her moonwalking abilities from Jake, yes...Jake can moonwalk!!!

I haven't had a chance to blog in a few days, I feel so behind on updates and connecting with friends, ugh, where does all the time go? I am thankful for spending time with Brooklynn every morning till 10:30, just me and her.... and then sewing away while she is at school and then the 2 hours of homework, lol...it seems like that long anyway, then hang out with the family then they go off to bed and I start sewing again....I feel like all I do is sew (and I love it), which means business is good and I love creating new things, but lack the follow through on my blog, chatting with friends, networking...the list goes on! Business has been great. I feel so greatful for being blessed with such great stores, great buyers and of course my family n' friends. I am so excited about our Fall Line which will be available for preorders the beginning of May. We have had such great success with our Birthday Couture Collection & Our Cheetahlicios Collection. We have almost sold out of all of our Summer Eyelet Dresses!!! They did so great!!!! So what else is new with OPK/ME? Well, just busy working on the new lines and trying to keep up. This business is a lot of work and I am still working almost every night till 1 am....I am dying to start reading the Twilight Series and I am so scared to start beacuse from what I hear, you can't put them down. My girlie friends (Jenay & Tina) have been talking all about these books and how great they are....I thought what could be so great until I watch the movie and now I am hooked. Maybe work until 10 and read till 1? Yeah right! Nikki...you better not start before me, I'm watching you......

We are about 4 weeks until Mothers Day in Mexico. We are going with The Fitzloffs http://www.thefitzloffsfactsoflife.blogspot.com/ again and I am looking forward to it. Resort, Pool, Beach, Weather....I am counting down the days to get my new tan....Anyway, I gotta run. Hope all of you had a great Good Friday and have a Fabulous Easter.

Here is another cute pix from our Glitter Box photo shoot. Vanessa told me today that she keeps visiting my blog and as much as she likes seeing my dog and turtle, it was time for a quick update! I have been sooooo busy working, that blogging, facebook, emailing, twitter, myspace and all of the other stuff that has consumed my evenings and kept me up till the wee hours of the night, have been put on the back burner! Today we had another photoshoot with Amy Jamieson Photography and went so fabulous as always! Little "G" did 13 outfit changes and Brooklynn was dying at 4! Haha! Anyway, Amy....thank you so much for working with me and helping my company have such professional pix, I love them all!! I can't wait for our outdoor photoshoot soon!!! And Chrisitna, thanks for feeding your kid so much candy that she was able to keep up with 13 wardrobe changes...she did so great!

I am off the LA in the morning with Nikki for a mini girls trip, yes....I am taking another weekend off...I deserve it!!!! my poor little Brooklynn is sooo sad and is laying on a huge guilt trip :(

I thought I would share a quick pix of our family pets...Tuff...aka "bobo" and "Sadie" the turtle. Bobo has been with us for over 10 years now...he goes in for surgery again tomorrow, so please say a quick prayer for him that everything goes well for him and we can get that "breath" thing taken care of (for those of you that know him, know what I mean)! I am so excited to announce that we are getting into the dessert business, lol, just kidding! I am so proud that our Cupcake Couture Set is doing so well, that we have come up with a cute way to display our sets....Our Posh Cupcake tank, Top, Sets will all be served up in these adorable cupcake style boxes. This is just an example of what they will look like...We have had ours customized in our Hot Pink Color with a fancy window to look through. I think this adds such a sweet touch to the set. We are working on the name...as of right now we have "Posh Pastries by OPK"....all comments welcome.....I can't wait for Amy Jamieson to do the photo shoot of our new packaging.....So do you think it's delicious or what!!!!

What a crazy day.....so I found that someone had stolen images from my friend Chrisitina's site, Lucky Gabi and was selling them as their own....who does this you ask? Sad People....so come to find out that she not only was using Lucky Gabi's stuff, she was selling my stuff too with my pitcure, my verbiage.....and using copyrighted images! We have contacted eBay for them to remove the images and contacted her too, to let her know how wrong this is....my stuff is still up there...she took the images from my friend Aimees site and is using pix of her 2 girls and other vendors clothing as well! I thought I would post this to bring a bit of awarness that this DOES HAPPEN....it happened to me! I am saddened that people are "so lazy" (wise words from Chrisitina) that they have to take credit for something that isn't even theirs.....all she had to do was remake it, use her own pix and then she is only half a theif, bit still a theif!!!.......I mean really though...make something and make it your own...don't you think people will know...ecspecially with an outfit that has been around for so long...

We finally did our photo shoot for "some" Spring items and it was great! Amy Jamieson http://amyjamiesonphotography.com/blog/ did a fab job and I can't wait to see all of them, here are a few teasers she sent over!. So of course I stayed up late....really late, mostly chatting on the phone with Christina about really important stuff, when we both should have been working and going to bed at a decent hour, but then again, what fun would that be, lol. Well, poor Christina's (http://luckygabi.blogspot.com)/ little boy got sick soshe couldn't make it and I didn't get my Gabi fix! We had little "B" model 8 outfits and she did so good, she is the daughter of Brian who I went to elementary school with like 10 years ago (hahaha) and his wife J.J. who is such a sweet heart. We alos had a new OPK model out today, SASSY Bella, the daughter of my dear friend Vanessa ( http://www.sashayvanessa.blogspot.com/ ) and Bella did a fab job! Oh and I can't forget about my girlie, Brooklynn, you did great too! Everything went smoothly and we'll have a few more outfits coming soon, but that shoot will have to wait for another day! Oh my sweet, sweet Broookie....I just love this little girl so much! Tonight she did this cheer/dance performance for Jake and I and wishing my camera was close and ummm, CHARGED! Anywho....she was cheering/ dancing like she was in stadium full of people there just to see her. It's so funny and cute how much she loves cheer and let me tell you she has some moves (must be from me!). At practice she has a huge smile and is full of light (yes I said at practice), I just love watching her. I will have to post some new updates on her cheer...you have to see this girl fly!

Bride Wars....

OMG, how funny was that movie. Tonight I went to see Bride Wars with my dear friends Nikki and Vanessa and we had a blast. We were supposed to meet at 8:30, but classic Nikki got the movie times wrong so we shopped (yay!) a little and then they held me down and made me eat Mexican....again!

This movie is a must see...it's a movie about friendship, that will make you tear up, not "Marley & Me" tears, but laughter tears. I can remember my wedding 10 years ago and it's funny that I didn't get all crazy, I am so not that laid back anymore....My Maid of Honor, Nikki, stayed with me the night before to help me out on my big day...she was soooo nervous, you would've thought she was the one getting married! She wouldn't let me sleep in...she was go-go gadget all day long. So we are up at the alter doing our vows and the Priest asks, do you have the rings....Ummmm, Nikki...wear is Jake's ring? She was so nervous ALL DAY, she forgot the ring in the room, lol!!! Anyway, it's moments with friends like that, that you never forget. Thanks Buff, for creating an additional memory on my wedding day that I WILL NEVER LET YOU FORGET, lol! I was thinking about adding my wedding pix, but I think I'll pass....

Yes, I am Alive....

Wow, Christmas, then New Year's...where did all of the time go? A few of you emailed me and asked...are you alive? And yes I am...Christmas was great. Jake's dad stayed the night Christmas Eve and Brooklynn loves it! Then we headed up north to go sledding...AGAIN! Then we took the weekend to recoup, haha, right! Then off to the sand dunes with the Sorensons and the Ralls/Ross Family.

Brooklnn is getting so good at riding her quad. She was dying to take Baby Gabi for a ride, BUT it wasn't going to happen! Jodi got her 1st experience of the dunes and she even went for a "RIDE RIDE"! Good for her. The kids had fun playing in BIGGEST sand box ever.

That's my man with my sweet baby girl. They had soooo much fun tubing together. I can't believe that I have never been sleding or tubing before! I mean I am 21/12 and never been sleding??? Seriously....I have a lot ot make up for...so you guessed it...we are going back to the snow this Friday. I can't wait. Nothing fills my heart like the smile and laughter I hear from my daughter and watching my hubby and her create such lasting memories!

How cute are these "angels"? Here are Payten and Brooklynn doing their Snow Angels in the Snow and tubin down the slope!! All of the kids had so much tubing in the snow AND so did the parents. Jenay and I even "tubed" together and let's just say, it could've gotten ugly, lol, but we survived!!!

How fun this!! Vanessa had scheduled some pix for her family and they had to reschedule, so she called and asked if Brooklynn would her join her in a "fabulous photoshoot" with one of her friends, Isabella! They are soooo cute together. Brooklynn and Isabella had so much fun running around in the wheat field and playing at the Industrial Style Wherehouse, where of course Brooklynn running with such grace, pulled a Nikki (my friend that is sort of a clutz, lol) and crashed down hard and added YET ANOTHER booboo to those scratched up knees. You should have seen these girlies together, you would've thought they were professional models...I mean they acting like it anyway!!! Haha!! Anywhoooo....thank you to Vanessa for asking Brookie to join you, so thoughtful, and letting us borrow one of the LuckyGabi Pettis you had made and thank you to Amy Fraughton for taking sweet pix of the girlies!!!

This site is a great place for networking and information that can help build your business. Recently I have worked with Gemma and she has been such a great help to me and One Posh Kid, helping with my Press Kit (that I just love) and giving me tips on how the business works. If you are a desinger or a store owner/ e-Tailer, I would login and add your site and join of few of the groups. They have great co-ops for Magic and Magazines (such as Baby Couture) that help those of us on a budget. Gemma has gone above and beyond and I can't thank her enough for all of her help.

Life & Not Sweating the Small Stuff...

I was just heading to bed and I went to tuck little Brooklynn in and I found myself just staring at her, watching her sleep. I then realized AGAIN how lucky I am to have such a great daughter and a great hubby. Sometimes I lose sight of what really matters in life and how precious life is and just need a reality check and to not worry so much about worthless things/people. All of the other "stuff" isn't important without loved ones to share it with. I have been blessed with really good friends, some new and some old and today I have been reminded ALL DAY how many I do have. Not sure what was in the air today (& yesterday), but I was touched (and still am) by a few of the great conversations I had in the past 2 days. I don't keep in touch as much as I should, I have a hard time just finding time, what a poor excuse. So today we made a few "girlie" plans and I need to make a night out for the girls and a few nights out with my man and I can never get enough of Brooklynn. I think 2009 will be the year I will make a new resolution...try not to sweat the small stuff and REALLY stick to it. Jake bought me that book awhile ago and maybe I need to make that a nightly reading, rather than a few of the other things that I find myself doing. Anyway, I just thought I would share and I am finally off to bed....good night and sweet dreams!

Wow, has it been 10 years already? Jake, Brooklynn and I went away this past week to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we had so much fun. The Plan: To take pix on the beach in these beautiful LG pettiskirts made for mommy (me) & daughter...The Problem: A HUGE gist of wind rolled in as we walked down to take pix! Ughhh, i finally get the hubby to take pix and 20MPH wind steal MY show, haha, lol! Jake must have talked to the wind Gods! Anyway, we were able to grab a dew cute ones and after Amy edits a few, I am sure I will look 10 years younger and all will be good! I will be adding more soon!

Today we had a another fabulous session with Amy Jamieson! SHE totally rocked it. Now for those of you who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Amy are totally missing out. She is the photographer that is down on the ground rolling around (with Gabi), CAPTURING "that" shot. We had 2 little ones today and one big girl, oh and a sweet boy that didn't know he was going to get his 15 seconds a stardom as well, lol. Brennan, Gabi and Brooklynn all did a fab job and are such professionals. Wait till J.J. checks out the pix of her lil' one, she is going to just die!!! Brian, thanks for driving out to the Copa and lending us your beautiful little girlie!

10 Days To GO!!!!!!!

I am so excited....10 more days till Mexico! October 10th, Jake and I will celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, October 10th....I know, 10 years!!! Wow!!! Holy Cow!!! Who woulda thought Jake could make it with me that long, lol! Well for those of you that don't "know" me, here is a pix of the "Three Muskateers". We have our princess and our dog...bobo, aka Tuff. Our Princess is 6 and is in the 1st grade and is the light of our lives. Then there is Bobo, our queensland heeler, he's deaf, but "listens" great. Anyway, I am thankful to have a wonderful family and I look forward to another 80+ years....who knows with botox and science, I may even look the same, LOL!!!!

Here is sweet & sassy Bella wearing a LuckyGabi Tutu and OPK zebra heart with bling tank. Today we dressed up a few "divas" and took them out for pictures at McCormick Stillman Park In Scottsdale! The girlies did pretty darn good! It was cute to see everyone stand around and watch the "models" do their thing and let me tell you, they were loving the attention!

I love how this set turned out! Christina (LuckyGabi Owner) made this fabulous tutu and we paired it up with a delicious ribbon shirt filled with cupcakes and confetti dots, YUMMY! It's so funny, we were sitting in her "office", the night before the shoot, so Christina and Wendy style, making stuff last minute, lol....anyway, we were looking for something bright and it dawned on us what a cute set this would be and well, as you can see, it like totally is!!!

I wanted to share my family with all of you. As some of you know I am married to Jake (10 years in October) and we have one beautiful daughter. I feel blessed to have a supportive hubby that helps me follow my dreams...(sappy, I know...but true!) I can't wait for our Anniversary trip, the 3 of us together on the beach. My daughter starts 1st grade on Monday and I can't believe our summer is over :( I didn't realize how much I would love being a WAHM. Anywho....just thought I'd share!
